The application period for the Marvão Festival Chorus is now open. This project once again brings together amateur and professional singers from different parts of the world, offering them an intense week of rehearsals and musical sharing, culminating in a final concert in the Church of Nossa Senhora da Estrela in Marvão.

Under the direction of conductor Pedro Teixeira and with Rodrigo Gomes at the piano, the Choir will perform the programme ‘Breath of the Earth’, which includes works by composers such as Rheinberger, Lopes-Graça, Whitacre, Monteverdi, Lili Boulanger, among others.

Applications can be submitted until 30th June using the form available on the festival’s official website.
