Rehearsals will be conducted by Christoph Poppen, artistic director of FIMM, and his assistant conductor Götz Hartmann.
Although there is no formal requirement to be of a certain standard to take part, musicians wishing to join should consider the programme to ascertain whether they feel they will be able to participate fully in the Academy. Please send a sound file or link of your playing together with your application. (Musicians who have already been part of MFO during the last years do not need to send a sound file).
Participation in the Academy is free, but you will have to pay for your travels, food and accommodation.
There is an application fee of 100€, non-refundable, which needs to be paid only after your application is accepted.
